Some fairly realistic scenes of "murder, battle, and sudden death," so not for very young kids, but terrific for any old enough to understand fiction. Bad news: despite repeated entreaties from fans, not available yet on DVD. Good news: you get to watch a really cute 16-year-old Christian Bale in the role of Jim Hawkins. |
